No. We only prep with mechanical diamond grinding, not acid etching. Grinding opens the concrete pores for a real mechanical bond instead of a shallow chemical one, which is why the coating doesn't peel later.
Flake epoxy is a broadcast vinyl chip system with a clear topcoat — durable, hides imperfections, wide range of looks. Polyaspartic is a fast-curing, UV-stable topcoat that resists yellowing and can often be walked on the same day. Many jobs use both: epoxy base with a polyaspartic topcoat.
Not if you ask for it. We can add an anti-slip additive to the topcoat for extra traction in garages that see snow, rain, or a lot of foot traffic.
